With this quality improvement, Windows 10 multi-session VMs can serve more MSIX registrations in Azure VDI (a.k.a Azure Virtual Desktop). While writing this post, the KB5003690 is an optional quality update for Windows 10 Enterprise version (multi-session). Pieter also explained in the Tweet that this Increase Amount of Concurrent Logins improvements would also be part of next month’s Windows 10 cumulative update.

Our teams have been working hard to increase the amount of concurrent logons Windows can service. Improvements are available now for “seekers” on Windows 10 Enterprise (multi-session) version 2004 or newer. Go to settings and manually check for updates.
