Let’s discuss Azure SCOM MI Support for SCCM Management Packs. SCOM MI (System Center Operations Manager Managed Instance) is the System Center Operations Manager functionality in Azure. Now, it supports SCCM Management Packs.

Azure Monitor SCOM managed instance is a cloud-based service that provides the same functionality as SCOM on-premises. SCOM MI can be used to monitor your resources on and off Azure. It can also integrate with other Azure services such as Log Analytics, Azure Managed Grafana, and Power BI.

SCOM helps users to provide continuous monitoring of workload. It is done with minimal infrastructure management. SCOM has many cost benefits, and the cost benefits of SCOM MI are provided over SCOM on-premises.

System Center Operations Manager functionality is now available on Azure with the integration of SCOM Managed Instance. I have already mentioned that SCOM Managed Instance is a cloud-based service. It is an alternative for System Center Operations Manager customers.
